Charlie’s Story 🤍

Our Sweaty Queen, Charlie, said something that touched my heart:

“It’s always been very hard for me to work out, but for the first time, it actually feels enjoyable.”

That’s exactly what Sweaty Studio is all about.

She shared that she’s feeling stronger, her health has improved, and — maybe most powerfully — she’s found confidence for the first time in her life.

This story is such a beautiful reminder that movement can do so much more than change your body — it can change how you see yourself.

It’s never too late to feel strong, proud, and at home in your body again.

Can Pilates help with weight loss??

Pilates can def help for weight loss. It's also super important to clarify the difference of weight loss and fat loss. When we begin to train new muscles or start working out for the first time in a while, our muscles can grow which is great!

Muscle weighs more than fat. So if the goal is to lose "weight" for a sport/weigh out of sorts, then cardio only would be the best program. But if your goal is to lose "fat", then combining pilates with cardio is a great way to do that.

A couple pointers, is there is no need to be restrictive in eating or feel guilty for not moving ur body in a day! To lose fat and gain muscle, which helps to get that "toned" look, it's super important to consume as much protein as your ideal bodyweight daily (this is a rough estimate to help u get enough protein to support muscular development).

Calorie deficits paired with a high protein diet help to support muscle growth and fat loss simulatenously. A calorie deficit occurs when calories OUT (exercise) exceeds calories IN (eating/drinking). Now, if ur feeling restrictive or hard on urself, it's important to know that the calorie deficit can be 200 calories, it does NOT mean you have to skip meals, torture yourself, or overexercise to reach a 1,500 calorie deficit...

With that being said, most people over-estimate calories out and under-estimate calories in. It's important to approach this intuitively and not get obsessive. Weighing yourself daily is NOT going to tell you the full story. Like i mentioned above, you can workout, lose fat, and weigh more (since ur new muscle outweighs the fat weight lost).

If you're still hungry even after you thought you met your general food needs, try to increase your protein intake (that helps curb appetite/constant carb cravings).

P.S. YOU ARE IN THIS FOR THE LONG GAME. We are talking WEEKS + MONTHS ladies, not DAYS. This is a MARATHON, NOT a sprint. I've wrecked my bod before trying to lose fat fast. In addition to the physical pain of doing so, my self-talk and mindset were not healthy or kind to myself. It's so so so important to be KIND to yourself on this journey. You are beautiful already!!! Let me know below if u have any more questions!!

Caroline’s Story 🤍

Caroline has been working out with Sweaty Studio for 4 years — and her transformation goes far beyond the physical.

For a long time, she used to get down on herself if she skipped a workout or didn’t hit the same numbers as the day before. But something changed when she started Sweaty Studio.

Through the workouts, she learned how to listen to her body — to work with it, not against it.

“Callie talks a lot about being kind to yourself and doing what’s good for your body that day. That shift changed everything for me.”

Caroline’s story is such a powerful reminder that strength isn’t just about muscles — it’s about mindset. Showing up for yourself looks different every day, and that’s okay.

She said it best:

“Sweaty Studio has been my tried and true for years, and it’s often the best part of my day.”

Take a moment to celebrate Caroline’s journey below — and if this resonates with you, share one mindset shift that’s helped you feel more at peace in your own fitness journey.
