So neck pain is almost always about holding tension, not lack of strength. Try softing your jaw, dropping the shoulders away from your ears, let the neck stay long, and exhale through the effort. If you catch yourself bracing the neck, that’s your cue to reset or lighten the load so that your next doesn't tense up during a workout. Let me know if it helps.Β
